10 Biggest Ever WrestleMania Screw-Jobs

10. The Roster Is Screwed Over With Too Many Short Matches (Almost Every Wrestlemania)

Given the huge level of planning that goes into any WrestleMania, you could be forgiven for believing that the event always goes off without a hitch, but this isn't always the case. One recurring error that crops up in nearly every edition is when superstars are continuously short-changed by being forced to wrestle in extremely short and unsatisfying matches, which is criminal when you consider Wrestlemania is 4 hours long. At last year's PPV, The Shield battled Kane and The New Age Outlaws in a blockbuster six-man tag team match...that lasted less than 3 minutes. Big Show and The Miz contested a match for the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship against John Morrison and R-Truth at WrestleMania 26...that clocked in at just over 3 minutes. This isn't a new phenomenon, however, as the early Mania's routinely featured 15 or so matches on the card, inevitably leading to 5 or 6 pathetically short encounters. Easily the most egregious example of this in recent memory was Sheamus' defeat of Daniel Bryan for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 28 in a scant 18 seconds. It's hard to know what WWE hoped to accomplish with this, but the fevered crowd support that Bryan received after this injustice ended up catapulting him to superstardom, so it worked out pretty well in the end for the American Dragon (perhaps to WWE management's chagrin).
