10 Biggest Heat Magnets In Wrestling Right Now

4. Triple H

This might scan as counterintuitive.

Triple H isn't a heat magnet; he's 'Papa H', benevolent, avuncular creative saviour and the man who has restored locker morale after Vince McMahon plunged it in the sh*tter for almost the entire 21st century. His roster loves him. A sense of elusive optimism mists the air of WWE. Ratings are up to what is an extraordinary extent by modern standards.

That's his roster, though. A leopard never changes its spots-uh, and Triple H is already pissing off the competition all over again.

In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, Trips unleashed a signature pithy dig at AEW. He said that "they beat our developmental programme, big deal".

Of course, this wasn't true. NXT has suffered more identity crises than Ed Leslie. Is it developmental, or a third brand proper? This narrative turns more than the Big Show to whatever is convenient at the time, and at Survivor Series 2019, it wasn't merely the third brand; it was the brand. NXT "defeated" Raw and SmackDown in a bid to convince fans that it was significant and worth watching - certainly more than that AEW!

An irked Chris Jericho pointed this out, but Tony Khan was rather more upset at what can probably be inferred as the alleged contract tampering during the All Out presser: "I'm serious. I'm not gonna sit back and take this f*cking sh*t."
