10 Biggest Heat Moments From WWE’s Most Popular Wrestlers
2. John Cena - One Night Stand 2006
John Cena is no stranger to hostile atmospheres. The 16-time world champion has enjoyed an adversarial relationship with the crowd almost since the day he captured his first WWE Championship way back in 2005, and it arguably peaked the following year at WWE's ECW reunion show, where he defended the title against Hammerstein Ballroom favourite Rob Van Dam.
The One Night Stand crowd vowed to riot if Cena walked out of New York with the title, and they weren't kidding. The Champ couldn't even throw his shirt into the stands without seeing it promptly tossed back in his direction to a chorus of ironic cheers. It was one of the few nights that Cena has embraced his heel side but, in the circumstances, he couldn't really do anything else.
