10 Biggest Holy Sh*t Moments From NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver Night 1

4. Old School Ciampa

Never mind "holy sh*t" - Holy Ciampa!

Tommaso returned to his old school bald look for TakeOver, and it was a welcome change. Being honest (and as much as it's understandable why he wanted to shake things up), his fuzzy bald-ing aesthetic and the long tights never really clicked. He's much better off as a bearded baldy.

The announcers didn't miss a beat by wondering aloud if Ciampa was maybe looking to summon the ghosts of NXT past against Walter. He was dipping back in time to his glory days on the brand, and seeking that UK Championship to get one step closer to his baby: NXT's top title proper.

Seeing Tommaso stroll out with the trunks and bald head for a TakeOver special felt right. He's one of the legacy stars of the brand, and it's important WWE don't f*ck around with those sorts of things. This was a neat little shocker that somehow elevated the match to a whole new level.

It didn't hurt that they also produced bell-to-bell.
