10 Biggest Holy Sh*t Moments From WrestleMania 36 Night One
3. Owens KO's The Messiah From Above
Right, now we're in the business end.
When Kevin Owens decided to position his beaten-up arch-rival on the announce table so soon after knocking Seth Rollin's lights out with that aforementioned timekeeper's bell, fans around the world began to speculate exactly where 'KO' would be falling from in his quest to obliterate the 'Monday Night Messiah'.
Would he go for a frog splash from the top rope?
Possibly even a senton off the pointless guard rail?
Nope, Owens had bigger plans and proceeded to disappear behind the titanic WrestleMania sign which towered over much of the PC.
He reappeared seconds later, high above the ring, perched on top of the world and ready to steal his 'Mania moment back from the maniacal Rollins. Throwing caution to the wind, Owens then emphatically crashed through Rollins and the table beneath him.
You do have to question whether putting your body through this kind of torture is really worth it when your live audience only consists of a few essential staff. Yet, clearly our hero Kevin Owens felt he owed the fans at home a 'Holy Sh*t!' death defying stunt, which no doubt made his old sparring buddy Shane-O-Mac proud. At least he earned a win for his trouble, too.
