Now, some big bumps.

Edge put his body through the wringer during his first singles match for approx nine years. He and Randy Orton took serious abuse as they brawled through various rooms and hallways in the Performance Center, and it was amazing to see that the Canadian hadn't lost a step.

At one point, he sprawled Randy across a table, scaled a ladder (one conveniently placed next to some scaffold shelving) and leapt off with almighty thump. The elbow drop looked spectacular, harkened back to classic moments from Edge's past and ended with the gratifying crack of wood giving way.

Edge didn't have to put his body through stunts like that ever again. Fans would've forgiven him for trying to take things easy, but he presumably felt he had to do something special. That, amazingly, wasn't the end of it the career-threatening excitement.
