Woah, woah, woah!

Yes, this was all said in jest, and sure, everybody knows it's one million miles away from the truth. However, Jerry Lawler introduced that video package for The Bella Twins by suggesting that Nikki and Brie made Daniel Bryan relevant for the first time in his career. That's a whopper and a half.

Bryan was already one of the most respected pro wrestlers on the planet by the time he reached WWE in 2009. It'd be a lie to claim that his brief alliance with The Bellas in late-2010 contributed much to his prospects in the organisation. Thank God this was only a joke then.

It still stood out despite the lighthearted tone.

Cynics will believe that WWE still have a chip on their shoulder when it comes to DB. After all, he was never supposed to catch fire like he did or become one of the most cherished stars in company history. It's either that or someone just fancied ribbing him here.
