Mustafa Ali clearly plays up to his character on social media. This can create some controversy, if only 'cause some fans don't seem to realise that Twitter is still a tool wrestlers can use to further their on screen personas. In other words, the sh*t they post on there isn't always serious.

Ali has been outspoken about WWE's over-reliance on legends in the past, but he told Sarah Schreiber on the red carpet that he was taking a night off to honour them. Why? Well, the ex-Retribution leader thinks there's a time and a place to criticise. Again, how classy is that?

This also showed how decent a human being Mustafa actually is away from Raw's overblown soap opera.

It was also funny to see him quasi-bury Retribution for failing to be as successful as the nWo too. That was never gonna' happen, Mr. Ali. WWE butchered the idea from minute one, and it only got worse from there.
