Tampa's live crowd was left shocked by that opening heel win.

No wonder. A Drew McIntyre victory seemed like a stick on when WWE announced it as the card's launching pad. Plus, Drew had last year's empty training center win to top, and it was impossible to think Bobby Lashley would leave with that title in his mitts. He did though.

There was an audible gasp when McIntyre passed out in Lashley's 'Hurt Lock' and the referee called for the bell. People looked around like there'd been some kind of mistake, but it didn't take long for the reality to sink in. Drew had been beaten, Lashley had won and the belt hadn't changed hands.

WWE weaved a strong story here. They successfully tricked people into thinking they'd get what they wanted, then cemented Lashley as a dominating champ in the end. Now, a question mark hangs over McIntyre's direction; where does he go from here?
