Lex Luger really didn't care too much for professional wrestling. He cared about American football (and making lots of money). But not wrestling. Luger played professionally for many teams, although never in the NFL, playing instead in the short-lived United States Football League (which had to be a blow to his ego). While he never really developed into anything special as a worker (although he did have a couple of great matches), Lex could always rely on one thing: his body. Like any self-respecting jock, Luger was a gym addict and sculpted one a damn impressive physique. Luger, who had a reputation of treating wrestling with contempt and alienating himself from his colleagues, had another typical jock characteristic: he was an idiot. Yes, Luger was not considered one of the sharpest tools in the box and was obsessed with his own appearance to boot. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHTj7qfnTak
