10 Biggest Loudmouths In WWE History

1. 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper

Much like many others featured on this list, 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper did do some work as a colour commentator in the WWF. This was a natural progression for the performer once his in-ring career started winding down. One of the finest promo men of his era, Piper could talk whole buildings into hating him during his prime.

Not quite the hulking beast his employers were becoming famous for, Piper was a different kind of star for Vince McMahon during the explosion of the WWF in the mid-1980s. Due to his savvy on the microphone though, Roddy proved the perfect opponent for muscled-up heroes like Hulk Hogan.

Whether he was talking from behind the announce desk, in front of cameras backstage, or on the set of his talk show segment 'Piper's Pit', Roddy Piper was a riot. Arguably, those first few years following the advent of WrestleMania wouldn't have been as memorable had it not been for Piper.

Crucially, Roddy was just as loud-mouthed when playing babyface, both in the WWF and WCW. Few could match Piper's abrasive tone when he was let loose in promos.
