10 Biggest Loudmouths In WWE History

2. Jerry 'The King' Lawler

From 1993-1995 (and occasionally thereafter until 'The Hitman' left the WWF), Jerry 'The King' Lawler had a lengthy rivalry with Bret Hart. Whilst it's true that the promotion's talent pool had thinned during this period, Lawler was the perfect antagonist for Hart's straight forward wrestling approach and hero vibe.

Grabbing a nearby microphone, Lawler would grate on nerves by blasting Bret's family with childish jibes and hokey remarks. The man's rasping tone only added to the atmosphere, and that was something Jerry was able to continue when taking permanent residence behind the commentary table.

In the mould of other classic colour commentators like Jesse 'The Body' Ventura and Bobby Heenan, Lawler's job was to wind up the likes of Vince McMahon and Jim Ross. Years later, he'd transition into being a more neutral voice. Still, fans couldn't forget just what a treasure Jerry Lawler had been when cheering on the heels and their dastardly deeds.

An announcer on top WWE programming for close to 20 years, 'The King' has been loudly narrating company action for generations. Emphasis on loudly.
