10 Biggest Mistakes WWE Creative Made In 2014

1. Brock Lesnar Wins The WWE World Heavyweight Championship

2014 was the year of The Beast. Brock Lensar not only pinned The Undertaker at WrestleMania and ended The Deadman's undefeated streak, he also destroyed John Cena and became the new WWE world heavyweight champion. The man that many believed would solely be used to sell big events only had beaten the company's biggest icon and then took out the top guy to become the top guy himself. The problem was, it didn't quite work out that way. Lesnar's stunning victories did not put him at the top of the food chain in terms of performing in the ring. In fact, Lesnar was not seen on WWE programming for nearly four months after his last title defense against Cena at Night of Champions. Now, Brock is heading to The Royal Rumble to face Cena for the third consecutive time and fans could care less. The championship belt is not the same as it was before, mostly because fans haven't seen it enough to care about it. The title that meant so much to the fans and to the company is now seemingly nothing more than a symbol of the money Lesnar is paid for those very rare times he actually works a match. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YbjAMJxhnSI While many believe this is all leading to Roman Reigns beating Brock at WrestleMania in 2015, the truth is that keeping the belt warm around The Beast's waist was a mistake. WWE needs its champion and so do the fans.
