9. WWF vs. ECW - 2000
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dY6kw0P1XIc When ECW stalwart Taz signed with WWE in late-1999, hopes were high that the hard-man gimmick he had played for Paul Heyman's company could translate well on a bigger stage. Unfortunately, the man himself needed to be at least a foot taller to be taken seriously by management in WWE. Bagging the ECW World Title whilst under WWE contract just a few months after his debut in 2000, the re-named Tazz met reigning WWF/WWE Champ Triple H in a feature match on Smackdown. It was here that the size difference resonated, especially when the men stood face-to-face before the bout even started. Sure, this might be a short, TV-style encounter, but it's still a groundbreaking moment - never again would a reigning original ECW Champion meet a WWE World Title holder on television. Incredibly, Tazz was behind an announce desk just one year after his promising debut at the 2000 Royal Rumble, where he defeated Kurt Angle, so this stands out as one of the bigger highlights of his in-ring WWE run.
