10 Biggest Mysteries Still Surrounding WrestleMania 35

9. How Will The Kofi Kingston Story End?

Kofi Kingston's WWE Title shot isn't guaranteed yet, and Vince McMahon will likely have a few more hoops for the surging New Day man to leap through on this week's SmackDown, but Tuesday nights continue to be built around this programme. It's a safe bet.

The outcome, on the other hand, is not, and both sides of the debate have merit.

Bryan has been a sublime heel champion. He's WWE's most effective heat magnet, still has mileage with the custom-designed hemp belt, and is the guy SmackDown's main event scene should be built around for the rest of the year. Kingston, meanwhile, is riding an incredible wave at the moment, having grabbed the opportunity granted by Mustafa Ali's injury with both hands, establishing himself as the pre-eminent male babyface in the company.

It's a tough decision, though general booking logic would dictate that Kingston should go over. But doesn't have to. Sometimes, the underdog loses in the end, and while the fans have never been more behind Kofi than they are at the moment, there's every chance Vince McMahon still sees him as a middling tag guy.
