10 Biggest Omissions From WWE Draft List 2016

1. The Undertaker

Questions about Kane aside—in all seriousness, it’s his kayfabe brother the Undertaker that is arguably the most notable admission from the WWE’s list of draftees.

Harking back to the case of Triple H, the Undertaker was a pivotal part of this year’s WrestleMania, not to mention one of the industry’s most recognisable names of all time. So they must have known that we’d notice if he wasn’t included in the Draft?

They may yet address this case on Raw or SmackDown; something along the lines of Undertaker being exempt due to his larger-than-life status. But surely such an argument could apply to Brock, which makes it all a little inconsistent?

Then there’s also the rumours that ‘Taker actually decided to pack it in following his win at this year’s WrestleMania. Could his omission from the Draft be confirmation that we’ve seen the last of the Undertaker?

That’s probably getting a little ahead of ourselves, but it’s definitely something to watch out for—or not, as the case may be—in this week’s upcoming Draft. Who knows, maybe we’ll even see ‘Taker in a suit taking orders from Stephanie on Raw…
