10 Biggest Power Trips In WWE History

5. Chyna's Sway Gets Miss. Kitty Fired

Shortly after the No Way Out Pay-Per-View in 2001, Stacy 'The Kat/Miss. Kitty' Carter was fired by the WWF. Her then-lover, Jerry 'The King' Lawler elected to walk with her, leaving the company he had served since 1993. Reports suggested that Carter was difficult to deal with, and creative hated her arrogant attitude. In a shoot interview taped shortly after his departure from the promotion, Lawler refuted those claims. Interestingly, the King then went on to hint that none other than Chyna was actually involved in Carter's sacking. Previously, Miss. Kitty had played valet to the wrestler, and they were now both involved in a feud opposite the 'Right To Censor' group. When Carter was fired, the storyline was immediately dropped after Chyna defeated Ivory at WrestleMania X-Seven. According to Lawler, Chyna wasn't a huge fan of Carter, and wanted her gone. As she was still a powerful member of the WWF locker room at that point, she got what she wanted, and Carter was canned. Of course, this came shortly before Chyna herself would be out of favour with company management.
