8. Lack Of New Stars

When you look at the top of WWE's male roster, there comes a realization that there has not been a new breakout star in nearly a decade. Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton, Edge, Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre, Goldberg, The Miz, are some of the biggest stars WWE has, all of whom debuted at least 14 years ago. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins are arguably at the top of the WWE food chain, where they have been since their debut nearly ten years ago. Additionally, Rey Mysterio was recently announced as the cover star for WWE 2K22.

Similarly to the women's division, WWE has given opportunities to the likes of Big E, Kofi Kingston, Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro. But each time they attempt to elevate someone new, they are shortly thereafter brought back to reality and down the card. The only superstar to truly break the proverbial glass ceiling in recent years is AJ Styles, who arrived in WWE after 18 years traveling the world.

This is something that needs to change if WWE wants to have any future. Vince McMahon has already lost two of his most dependable part-time stars in The Undertaker and Triple H, and the likes of Goldberg and Brock Lesnar are not going to be around forever. Building new credible stars needs to he priority number one for Vince McMahon.
