10 Biggest Promises WWE Broke In 2021
3. Brand Rosters Are Set For 12 Months
They do this every single year without fail these days - WWE script the October-November period with mind-numbing thickness, then feign ignorance and throw up garbage like the "Brand-To-Brand Invitational" or Vince's infamous 'Wild Card Rule' when they can't be bothered to see their own ideas through.
It's frankly crap that the WWE Draft happens right before a pay-per-view, Survivor Series, that's supposedly all about loyalty to either Raw or SmackDown. How can wrestlers who have only been on a show's books for six weeks max show unflinching loyalty towards it? Why would they even hate the other show anyway?
Jesus, it's painful booking, and it was agony in 2021.
Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville, like Stephanie McMahon before them last year, decreed that Raw and SmackDown's roster would be ironclad for a solid year following the Draft. Predictably, loads of workers have cross-pollinated since, because of course they have.
They'll continue to do so into 2022.
