10 Biggest Promises WWE Broke In 2021
2. WrestleMania Is Unmatched
WrestleMania has been WWE's annual showcase since 1985. It's given the most hype each year, is clearly-presented as being above every other pay-per-view on the calendar and probably splurges more on pyro in one night than 90% of the roster are paid for 12 months. So, what changed in 2021?
Crown Jewel. That's what.
WWE's first jaunt over to Saudi Arabia since February 2020 was given a pre-show hype machine to rival 'Mania 37. Why did it have to share that with another unwanted international trip?
