Like the return of Bray Wyatt, Cedric Alexander capturing the Cruiserweight Championship on the WrestleMania 34 pre-show hasn't been top of the agenda of too many wrestling fans this morning.

For 205 Live, that's a pretty familiar story. WWE's forgotten fourth show has been sorely neglected since its inception in 2016, even more so since Neville - the division's shining light - took his leave of absence in the latter part of last year.

But hey: clearly this all still matters to somebody in the company's boardroom. Instead of ushering the cruiserweight experiment towards an unspectacular climax, WWE seems intent on making it a success, evidenced by the appointment of Drake Maverick as general manager.

The question now is whether the cast of 205 Live will be given the opportunity to capitalise on all of that momentum in the weeks and months ahead. Put differently, will the trend of meaningful matches continue, or are we facing a depressing resumption of the status quo?
