5. Will Nakamura Win The WWE Title?

In 2003, Booker T lost his WrestleMania world title match and sharply fell down the card in the weeks and months that followed. It would be a further three years before he came anywhere close to WWE's main event scene again.

But, by low-blowing AJ Styles after the final bell, Shinsuke Nakamura may have escaped a similar fate this past Sunday. Unlike Booker, he didn't leave the arena a hard-done-by baby-face, but instead a hacked-off heel who owes an explanation to his fans.

There's now reason to listen to the King of Strong Style's promo on SmackDown. Despite losing, he has momentum, a purpose, and - not withstanding the possibility that this was all done in the aid of a shocking 'Mania moment - presumably a long-term plan behind him too.

All of this, one would think, bodes well for his prospects as a future WWE Champion. He may not win it during his inevitable Backlash rematch with AJ, but there's every chance that he could wear the belt at some point in 2018 - and isn't that what we all wanted anyway?
