10 Biggest Reasons AJ Lee Quit WWE

6. No Friends

AJ Lee wasn't exactly a social butterfly backstage in the WWE. She primarily kept herself to herself, and there's nothing wrong with that. Unfortunately, the other girls were somewhat of a clique. This created an at times hostile environment for AJ. She had been very close to Kaitlyn, and obviously very close to CM Punk. But Kaitlyn and Punk both quit at the start of 2014. This left AJ alone. She was also treated as guilty by association, with some in the locker room seeing her in the same negative light that they viewed CM Punk. With not many friends and a bad reputation, going to work can't have been that much fun for AJ. Her decision to leave was probably similar to Punk's, she was disillusioned and unhappy in the company. Her attitude and personality didn't really fit in with the WWE culture.
