5. CM Punk And The UFC

CM Punk quitting the WWE in January 2014 undoubtedly had a huge impact on AJ Lee. However, for most of last year, he was just sat at home on his couch in Chicago. That made things easy enough for AJ to see him in her time off, or for him to visit her on the road. But then in November of last year, Punk signed with the UFC. He then started training with Roufusport in Milwaukee. Suddenly, AJ and Punk were in a strained position. They were finding less time to see each other, as Punk now had long days in the gym and travel to and from Milwaukee. This has to be a huge factor in AJ's decision to quit WWE. She's standing by her man, offering him the full support to pursue his UFC dream. As a family, this was the best decision for both AJ and Punk. He now has his wife at home and there for him every step of the way in his UFC career.
