10 Biggest Rebels In WWE History

8. Brian Pillman

It's hard to imagine a guy playing nice with others when his nickname is The Loose Cannon. Brian Pillman was perhaps the single best example of the anti-Superstar that WWE fans have ever seen, He was too small to make it, he was too dangerous to be loved and he was too wild to be cheered. Yet, Pillman not only gained a following, he also commanded the respect of his peers and the fans alike. The fact is that Pillman epitomized what a top notch work ethic combined with the right personality can do for a guy in the business. Brian was seen by all the right people, he impressed all the right people and at the end of the day, it was the people that accepted him as one of their own. Brian represented everything that was right about the industry and proved that no matter how many times you're held back, that you can never give up. He seized the moment every time he was on camera and no matter who he was working, fans always believed he was in the match. It was that never say die attitude that endeared him to so many fans and still does to this day. However, it was his rebellious nature that kept him fresh and entertaining for crowds that were hungry for that kind of character. Pillman's gimmick may have been done before but no one arguably did it any better before or since he did. He was truly one of a kind.
