With RAW episodes looking to average two and a half hours on Netflix, NXT lasting two hours and Smackdown recently bumping up its viewing time to a whopping three hours, WWE fans (for now) have at least seven and a half hours of product to wade through each and every week - and that's before we get to PPVs, or PLEs, or whatever we're meant to call them now.

WWE's content deluge has been a problem ever since RAW added a third hour to its schedule back in 2012. But even then, NXT was just an hour long (and completely irrelevant), and Smackdown was only two hours. WWE have been steadily expanding its output for over a decade, and they're straining against the limits of how much wrestling a casual fan can take.

Put simply, nearly eight hours of TV spread across three shows is far too big an ask for the average punter. However, it could be argued that WWE themselves have been taking steps to help with that...
