10 Biggest Red Flags Waving In WWE Right Now

5. Too Many Factions

A good faction should elevate the people in it. The best example of this in modern wrestling is - obviously - The Bloodline, whose members exploded in popularity after its formation. OTC, Yeet, I Love You Solo - none of that happens without The Bloodline, and WWE should be applauded for creating one of - if not the - greatest factions in wrestling history.

Unfortunately, WWE's other factions have been less successful. Much, much, much less successful. There are factions that started strong but are now running on fumes (Judgement Day, Damage CTRL); factions with huge potential that have yet to get going (American Made, The Wyatt Sicks); and factions that were simply dead on arrival (Pure Fusion Collective, whose lack of impact can be largely attributed to the decision to call them Pure Fusion Collective).

None of these factions are elevating their members, and in some cases they're actively hurting the careers of the people in them. Chad Gable is nowhere near as over as he was before forming American Made, IYO Sky outgrew Damage CTRL months ago, and Karrrion Kross' recent upswing has nothing to do with his status as a faction leader, and everything to do with his surprising aptitude for comedy.

A weak faction makes all its members look like dead weight, and WWE needs to start cutting the apron strings and letting the stars of each group flourish on their own.
