10 Biggest Red Flags Waving In WWE Right Now
4. Disappointing Returns
Once Triple H took over the hot seat in WWE, many wrestlers who had found themselves on the outs during the Vince McMahon era were bought back for a fresh start. Unfortunately, those fresh starts soon turned sour as many of the returning big fish found themselves lost in the WWE ocean.
Kairi Sane went from making history as the inaugural IWGP Women's Champion in Japan to being Damage CTRL's designated pin-eater; Andrade swiftly transitioned from the company's hottest (in every sense of the word) returnee to being part of the furniture; and Bo Dallas' Wyatt Sicks are yet another example of WWE's tendency to create supernatural entities it has no idea how to book properly, with the group going from murderers to midcarders in the space of six months.
The best thing about the current wrestling landscape is that there are more opportunities than ever for wrestlers to make a living outside the WWE. Given the company's recent track record with returning superstars, it might behoove wrestlers in other companies to continue flourishing in their own part of the wrestling ecosystem, rather than attempt to swim amongst the sharks in WWE.
