Though The Undertaker's transition into the American Badass made him seem more mortal, it held up because he was still a super strong, mean and scary dude (just without the supernatural elements). The difference, however, was that it placed the spotlight on his personal life - something that was highlighted by the introduction of his then-wife Sara.

But whether she was introduced or not, we all would have known about her existence because 'Booger Red' got her name tattooed on his neck. And that was quite a major thing for a guy who once protected his demonic character so well that many didn't even know if there was a Mrs. Undertaker.

Considering we're all still getting used to the fact that 'Taker is now letting us see a little more of his life these days, it's quite shocking that it was something of a regular thing back in 2001. Nevertheless, placing the spotlight on his personal life at the time probably isn't one of 'The Phenom's fondest memories considering that his marriage to Sara ended six years later and that meant getting the tattoo removed (and subsequently replaced with another).
