One of the last remaining Undertaker dream matches that could realistically happen took place at WrestleMania 36 in a way that none of us ever expected. That didn't stop the Boneyard Match from being a cinematic work of art as 'Taker and Styles put together an epic movie-like spectacle that stood out on a packed card for all the right reasons.

'The Phenom' himself is incredibly proud of that match but he does have regrets about the fact that he never got to wrestle Styles in the ring on a grand stage like WrestleMania - something both men were working towards when the ongoing global situation forced everyone to re-evaluate the situation. He revealed in the aforementioned SPORF interview that he would have liked to have a 'traditional match' with Styles 'in the ring'.

While they would have no doubt pulled off a solid match - and one that would have allowed 'Taker to look a lot better than some of his recent one-on-one encounters - 'Taker himself is well aware of what they could have done if they had faced off a lot earlier, revealing that he told Styles that he wished he 'got here 10-15 years earlier'.

No doubt about it: AJ Styles vs. The Undertaker of 2007 would have been something special.
