2. One (Or Two) Decades Too Late

In 2018, The Undertaker managed to turn the clock back and redeem himself with a fun well-performed WrestleMania return, squashing John Cena in the process. Unfortunately, later that year, he turned the clock back to a different time as the winded, ailing veteran we saw take on Roman Reigns returned at Crown Jewel.

The match between the Brothers of Destruction and D-Generation X was a complete disaster. A dream match that became a nightmare, Triple H tore his pec minutes into the match, Kane's mask and wig were accidentally pulled from his head and Shawn Michaels moonsaulted onto his own face.

'The Game' himself likened it to a bad comedy movie because pretty much everything that went wrong could have as four men who knew the ring pretty much better than anybody were out there putting their own legacy (and their wellness) on the line in a complete shambles of a match. 'Taker has admitted in retrospect that his head wasn't in the game that night but his body and soul weren't either - and the same could be said for the other three men, too.

Two decades ago this would have been awesome, one decade ago it would have been amazing, but nobody was better off for seeing this match happen in 2018 - least of all the men in the ring.
