10 Biggest Regrets From The Undertaker's WWE Career

1. Staying Too Long

If those last couple of entries taught us anything, it's that The Undertaker's last decade had arguably more misses than hits - which has undoubtedly influenced many of the conversations regarding when the legend should have retired.

'Taker has said on many occasions that he didn't want to become a parody of himself in the ring and while your writer has far too much respect for 'The Phenom' to ever even toy with a statement like that, post-2015 Undertaker did find himself on the receiving end of a lot of 'he's slow now but you should have seen him way back when' comments - a place he admitted that he never wanted to be.

He had lost a step in the ring and was constantly placed in matches that only highlighted that. Granted, WWE got their act together towards the end of his run and put him in situations that allowed him to redeem himself, but it's hard to argue with the fact that The Undertaker probably should have retired (from 30-minute matches, at least) about five years ago.

The legend knows Shawn Michaels left us wanting more when he retired at WrestleMania XXVI after the pair's epic showdown - so much so that he has admitted that he sometimes thinks he should have bowed out in 2010 as well. And, well, leaving on one of his final true highs would have been an unforgettable way to go.
