3. CM Punk Was Kind Of Clingy
Though they were first teased as an item on TV, eventually, AJ Lee and CM Punk became involved in real life. Though Punk left WWE in January of 2014, the couple got married that June and have been together ever since.
According to Lee, the beginnings of their relationship were a bit unorthodox. Once they started working together on TV, she says that Punk became "obsessed" with her. She stated that the kiss they shared on air changed the dynamic of their relationship, but she still refused his advances, preferring to just remain friends. Finally, after about a year of that, she decided to give a relationship with Punk a try, and the rest is history.
During the courtship, however, Punk didn't always play it cool. According to Lee, at one point she got a text message from her future husband that read "Why did you leave the building without saying goodbye to me?" Subsequently, she found herself ignored by "The Straight-Edge Superstar" for the following week.
