Professional wrestling is a dangerous business. Predictably, for a sport in which scripted fights are made to look as real as possible, the potential for serious injury is through the roof. Sometimes, however, accidents can be a little less serious. Due to the live-performance nature of wrestling, sometimes workers can make embarrassing mistakes fans can't help but chuckle at. Whether it be an unfortunate slip of the tongue, a confusing miscommunication, or a humorous botch at the very worst of times, wrestling often produces accidental comedic gems for the fans to enjoy. It could be argued that incidents such as these are funniest when they occur in the WWE. If the big boys are capable of messing something up so badly, its comedic value is instantly multiplied. Certainly, errors made by WWE superstars are received with more mirth than those which take place in TNA. The latter's screw-ups are met with more of a resigned sigh these days. In such a high-pressure environment as the WWE, with vast sums of money to be made, it's safe to say that some of these mistakes caused the culprits to land in very hot water.
