10 Biggest Shocks In WWE WrestleMania History

3. Brock Beats The Streak

Streak 21-1 Wrestlemania 30 Brock
WWE

Should Brock have been the one to beat the streak? Maybe. Should the streak have been beaten at all? Maybe not. Was the match a bit of a letdown due to Undertaker absorbing a bad blow to the head early doors? Unfortunately, yes.

Recriminations and fantasy booking aside, though, Undertaker’s first WrestleMania loss created an all-time great moment of disbelief. The incredulity can be read on the faces of everyone present at WrestleMania XXX (one instantly meme-able man particularly), and the slightly underwhelming nature of the finish only added to the realism of the moment.

Most wrestling fans probably thought the day would one day come - being the wrestler to beat the streak is too good a gift not to give away - but after seeing Undertaker overcome so many opponents at past WrestleManias, it was impossible not to back him for the win.

Instead, three F5s and a cornucopia of suplexes finally did the impossible, and Lesnar’s hand was raised as a stunned crowd watched on. Unsure how to react, but without a doubt they’d seen something historic.
