10 Biggest Wasted Talents On The WWE Roster In 2017
1. Kurt Angle
Since Kurt Angle has returned to the WWE, the world has been waiting with bated breath for the legendary 'Wrestling Machine' to step back into the ring. Unlike previous legends, Angle has been 100% active during his entire time away and WWE are missing out by having him watch from the sidelines.
While it's understandable that WWE will want to wait until the right moment to finally give Angle his big return match, if they wait too long, it's to the detriment of all concerned. Fans will lose interest, the honeymoon period of his return will pass, and Angle's physical condition probably won't improve over time.
The patience on Angle's in-ring return also contradicts the WWE's usual stance of jumping the gun and hot-shot booking, as they have done with both Lesnar/Joe, Cena/Nakamura, and Cena's win of the record equalling 16th World Title win.
With every passing month, Angle gets one month older. While Angle is no ordinary athlete, Father Time is undefeated in the wrestling business and Sting's disastrous WWE run is proof of just that. WWE waited too long, Sting had just two big matches to his name before his career was cut short. If the same were to happen to Angle, it would be a tragic waste of one of the greatest talents the business has ever seen.
