10 Biggest WCW Botches Ever

3. Cactus Jack Loses An Ear (Munich, Germany House Show - 3/16/1994)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJPLkrfW-KY If a believer that Mick Foley was doing his most compelling work in pro wrestling by 1998 in the WWF, 1994 Cactus Jack in WCW was likely as (or more) compelling. Putting his body through super-human levels of damage on a nightly basis, key Foley bumps included being powerbombed on arena floors, diving onto wrestlers on exposed concrete, and being involved in a concussion angle (that frankly was far before its time). However, at a WCW house show in Munich, Germany, Foley got his head trapped between the first and second rope (yet another physically demanding highspot) and after being bashed in the head, he slipped free, his cauliflowered ear being ripped from his head in the process. Grisly, violent and wholly unfortunate it's not just one of the biggest botches in WCW history, but also in the life of Mick Foley, too.
