10 Biggest Win Streaks In UFC History
2. Jon Jones (13)
"Jon Jones, get your sh*t together!"
Those were the words of Daniel Cormier after he defeated Anthony Johnson at UFC 187 to win the vacant UFC Light Heavyweight Championship. And those are also words that many a fight fan has been known to mumble at times over the years.
You see, Jon Jones has only ever not won two of his UFC fights. In those two fights, the first saw Bones DQ'd against Matt Hamill back in 2009 for using downward elbow strikes. The second fight, Jones actually got a KO victory over Cormier, before that was later ruled a No Contest after Johnny Bones failed a drug test.
Even after that Hamill loss, Jon Jones embarked on a 13-fight win streak until the battle against DC. And since the Cormier No Contest, Jones has won his three subsequent fights - meaning that his win streak would actually stand at 17 fights if he hadn't have failed that drugs test.
That figure of 17 would see the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion take the top spot on this list. Unfortunately for Jon Jones, though, that positive test result is just one of many problems to have dogged one of the greatest of all time.
