10 Biggest Winners From WWE Battleground 2015

At least King Barrett won his crown from R-Truth.

WWE Battleground is in the books and what a night it was. The big takeaway of the event was the return of The Deadman. The Undertaker made his presence known physically in the main event and it certainly popped the St. Louis crowd.

Aside from that return, several great wrestling matches were on the card. Sheamus and Orton surprised in the opener and WWE treated us to an unannounced triple threat Diva's match. It's a good time in wrestling history when a Diva's match on a special event is considered a treat.

The best match of the night was the U.S. Championship match between John Cena and Kevin Owens. The rivalry looks to be over between those two and it probably isn't the outcome that many fans wanted. John Cena won that match and it was a big win for him.

Along with John Cena, I will go through the Battleground event and analyze all of the big winners from the card. Everyone who won a match is listed, of course, along with a few performers who just had a good night. Even losers can walk away as winners sometimes.

From WWE Battleground 2015, these are the ten biggest winners from that show...

10. King Barrett

No longer known as Wade, King Barrett wrestled R-Truth on the pre-show of Battleground with his crown on the line. The whole premise was rather silly and hasn't done anything to elevate either Barrett or the King of the Ring tournament. But good for R-Truth for getting lots of screen time recently.

Considering that the match went almost 10 minutes long, it wasn't terrible. Both guys are at least decent at what they do even when they're saddled with a storyline that the crowd doesn't care much for.

Barrett scored the pinfall after delivering his Bull Hammer to Truth. With this win hopefully he can set his sights to more formidable competition.
