10 Biggest Winners From WWE Night Of Champions 2015
1. Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins came into this night holding both the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and the US Championship titles. He was in a position to potentially lose big but was able to hold off a certain Icon to retain the bigger prize.
His match with Sting was a slower paced bout than the Cena one that immediately preceded it. There were a few big spots planned to help pop the crowd again, one of which was when Sting was shoved off of one announce table only to go crashing through another.
Another big spot was when Seth tried to a springboard move off of a rope, but Sting shoved him away from the ring and into the barricade below. The final spot came in the form of a Sting crossbody off of the top rope and onto Rollins on the outside.
There was an awkward few moments where it looked like Sting was legit hurt after a buckle bomb near the end, but when he got back into the match and applied his Scorpion Death Lock, the crowd went nuts. Despite the near tapout, Rollins made a small package happen successfully to retain his title.
The post-match stuff was already discussed, but no third match happened. Rollins lost one belt but retained the more important one, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
