Tyler Breeze and Fandango were thrown together in the least envious of circumstances. The aesthetic obsessed duo came together so serve as the catalyst for R-Truth and Goldust's alignment, acting as secondary players in an utterly forgettable storyline. Many fans were thus surprised when Breezango were drafted as a tag team.

Breezango were the 49th pick of the entire draft, ahead of only The Vaudevillains and the Shining Stars in the tag team division. Things didn't look too hot initially for the Fashion Police, as they were relegated to enhancement status and the occasional giggle loss.

Everything changed in 2017 however. The Usos needed transitional challengers, and all of sudden Breezango were thrust into a position of prominence. They took the ball and ran with it, taking potentially disastrous segments and turning them into gold.

Without the 2016 draft, the chances are that Breezango would still be swimming at the bottom of the tag team pool, putting over new teams and occasionally getting destroyed by a singles star. The draft breathed life into a team that should have been dead on arrival.
