SmackDown's run of successes continues with the current SmackDown Women's Champion, Naomi. The former Funkadactyl is another who has benefited hugely from the roster being split in two. Naomi was lost in the shuffle before the draft - now she is at the top of her particular tree.

Naomi's championship reigns haven't exactly set the world alight, but that can be put down as much to circumstance as any fault of the champ. Naomi has been holding the belt whilst the rest of the division has been embroiled in one big storyline, taking part in Money in the Bank matches and other such things. Naomi was left to battle with an inexperienced Lana - a somewhat thankless task.

Naomi is in a much better position today than she was just one year ago. The draft has done a lot of damage to the women of WWE, but certainly not to the current SmackDown Women's Champion.
