Ryback was on a roll for the majority of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, tossing his peers over the top rope and eliciting the strongest reactions from the WWE Universe. Intense and aggressive, it appeared as though the Big Guy would finally make up for his disappointing WrestleMania two years ago by winning the Kickoff Show match. Instead, like nine other guys in the contest, he was caught in the vise-like grip of the Big Show and tossed to the arena floor. The repeated misuse of Ryback is among the biggest disappointments in regards to WWE Creative. The guy has proven himself able to overcome poor booking, a demotion, and he still came back as popular and over as he previously was. Why continue to job him out in situations like this when a win in the battle royal would have helped elevate him in ways Big Show simply cannot be at this point.
