10 Biggest WrestleMania Lies

4. Hulk Hogan's Various Andre The Giant Stories

Hulk Hogan is notorious for fabricating the truth sometimes. When it comes to his Andre the Giant stories, a lot of it is pretty crazy. The match was nearly 30 years ago, yet Hogan talks about it all the time. That's understandable since it was arguably the biggest and most important match in WWE history. Some of Hogan's stories mention that Andre weighed as much as 700 pounds during their match at WrestleMania 3. We've seen photos and videos. He doesn't look that big. It was probably closer to 500 or 550 and even that seems like a stretch. Another Hogan story regarding the match was that during the day of the show, he was sitting in the locker room with Andre as they were trying to figure out the result of the match. Maybe stories like that worked in the 1980s when wrestlers lied to fans and treated them like idiots by lying them. Do you really think they would have done this match without confirmation that Andre was going to put him over? No way Hogan was going to lose. The whole story about the match was that Andre had never been beaten, so Hogan was going to beat him and it was a passing of the torch, which is what happened. Hogan losing would have been terrible. Hogan loves telling stories. It doesn't mean they are always true.
