The Rock won the Royal Rumble in 2000, but his victory wasn't without controversy - The Big Show, who was the last man eliminated, tried to dump "The Great One" out of the ring, but Rock managed to pull him over instead. It seemed cut and dry at the time, but video replays later appeared to show that The Rock's feet touched the ground during his near-elimination. Big Show complained about how he deserved the WrestleMania title shot until he got his wish - or a chance at it. At No Way Out, Show and Rock clashed in a one-on-one match with the winner going to WrestleMania, and a returning Shane McMahon cost Rocky the bout. Big Show was going to WrestleMania. The Rock kept trying to win his spot back, and sure enough, he defeated The Big Show on March 13 to make the WrestleMania match a triple threat. The next week, Linda McMahon added Mick Foley to the match, creating the first (and only) fatal four way WrestleMania main event.
