10 Biggest Wrestlers Not Signed To WWE Or AEW

6. Colt Cabana

AEW's failure to move for Colt Cobana is in no way through political expediency; both he and CM Punk shared the floor at Starrcast III, in spite of their very public and very bitter legal spat, and it doesn't seem to be a case of not one nor the other one. It's a little odd: the Chicago native was a popular constituent of All In, and his commentary services could have proved valuable for a startup company literally struggling to find its voice.

Cabana is still tied to Ring Of Honor, though it's not likely the 39 year old is locked into a multi-year deal like top stars Rush and Marty Scurll. Obviously, a return for 'Scotty Goldman' to WWE is utterly unthinkable, after his Art of Wrestling podcast ultimately invoked medic Chris Amman to seek legal satisfaction. If, somehow, bygones can become bygones, there might be a place for Cabana in NXT as a trainer; Paul Levesque is more likely to forgive, if Vince McMahon has forgotten.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
