The Heart Throbs were a short lived tag team from 2005-06 consisting of Romeo Roselli and Antonio Thomas. The fact that one of them was name Romeo should tell you that they were going for some kind of gimmick to attract the ladies. Antonio Thomas was a generic name, so WWE's creative team should have done a better job of making him stand out more. They were actually called "The Heartbreakers" in Ohio Valley Wrestling (WWE's developmental system at the time), but that didn't make it on the main roster because obviously with the "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels there it would have been confusing. There was no way WWE was going to let them use that name on the main roster. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9gd6ZU1XfY When they showed up on Raw in April 2005 they came off as obnoxious heels that bragged about being popular with the later and would do things like pelvic thrusts on camera. When the gimmick didn't get over, they were relegated to Heat duty for most of their career. By February 2006 they were released.
