6. Ryback Will Be Forced To Vacate The Intercontinental Title
The curse of the Intercontinental Title strikes again! Injuries caused Daniel Bryan to give up the title and now it's possible Ryback will have to do the same thing. The staph infection that Intercontinental Champion Ryback has been dealing with has been pretty bad. He posted a photo of it and it looks disgusting. Incredibly, Da Big Guy noted that's the best it has looked in the last month. Since he's not healing very quickly, there's a chance that he will be forced to forfeit the title. While the "30 day rule" isn't a real thing, if Ryback is unable to get back in the ring within another month or two then it makes sense that WWE would strip him of the gold. Having a champion that doesn't appear on the show or defend the title makes the title look bad. It could be announced that Ryback will be stripped of the IC Title. They could crown a new champion by putting people like Big Show or The Miz in a match or possibly doing a battle royal as a way to get more people on the SummerSlam card. For what it's worth, Ryback tweeted that he would be ready for SummerSlam. That's not a sure thing, though.
