The women's Royal Rumble bout took a while to get going, but when it did, it delivered more than its fair share of of great moments. One of these was Sasha Banks going full-on 'Boss' mode towards the end, as she reverted back to the old, heelish persona that fostered her rise to prominence in the first place, creating some memorable showdowns with the Rumble's biggest faces.

The first shocking twist when Banks callously eliminated Bayley, her supposed best friend. It was a nothing run from her former NXT rival, who was barely in the ring for five minutes, the elimination triggered something in Sasha. Her main roster face persona subsided, replaced with the cocky arch-villainess of old. She squared up to Asuka and Trish Stratus like they were unwanted guests in her ring, and eventually threw the latter out, before attempting to rally a mob against the former, having recognised 'The Empress' as the biggest threat.

It was great to see this side of Banks again. She's a fine performer, but she has never felt like a natural babyface, despite her popularity. Here's hoping this heralds the start of her long-awaited heel turn, and a big 'Mania program with one of Raw's top faces.
