One of the many signs of WCW's eventual demise was the near-simultaneous exodus of several midcard talents to the competition. Chief among these were the Radicalz, a group of disgruntled talents who felt they were being underused by their old employers, and would go on to enjoy mixed success in the WWF. We all know the success and tragedy of Benoit and Guerrero, while Saturn and Malenko were at least able to enjoy a few reigns with lowercard championship titles, but their entry into the company was a decidedly rocky affair. After interfering in a match from their front-row seats (something of a precursor to the Invasion a year later) they were booked into a feud with DX, involving a series of matches through which they could "win" contracts by emerging victorious. They all lost. The modern-day WWE's notorious problem with elevating emerging young stars was clearly an issue 15 years earlier, as every member of the Radicalz fell victim to Triple H, the New Age Outlaws and X-Pac. Thankfully they were able to recover, but faced a far slower rise than their talent deserved. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YINmV62KoW4
